Low Voltage / A/V Integrator

Job Description:

  • Running low voltage cabling in both new construction and retrofit situations

  • Wall mounting televisions, screens, and projectors.

  • Installing in-ceiling speakers

  • Making various low voltage connections in a wide range of components including networks, control systems, and A/V related systems

  • Setting up high end audio systems

  • Setting up theater components

  • Programming remote controls

  • Setting up home networks – routers, switches, and AV components on the network

  • Working with clients setting up system apps and system resources

  • Working with tech support services as well as our internal resources to troubleshoot various systems and situations as they occur

  • Hanging and adjusting motorized shading systems

  • Working hand in hand with other trades and our team

  • And much more…

What You Bring:

  • High School Degree or equivalent education/experience

  • Some A/V integration experience

  • Knowledge in industry trends and standards

  • Customer service and strong verbal communication skills

  • High-energy, "can do" attitude and willingness to learn

  • Passion for technology

  • Trustworthiness, integrity, and organized attention to detail

  • Critical thinking, troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to perform with pride, craftsmanship, and efficiency

  • A valid driver’s license in good standing

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and meet physical dexterity demands

Bonus Additional Skills We’re Looking For (Not Requirements):

  • LEA Certification with residential and commercial field experience

  • Familiarity with home automation systems (primarily Crestron)

  • Familiarity with basic networking principles and setups (routers, access points etc.)

  • Familiarity with Audio Video signal paths, connections, and types of equipment

  • Technology/Computer fluency and ability to quickly grasp software
